RECIPE IDEA

SOY STEAK & PEAR SALAD WITH YOGURT-VINAIGRETTE DRESSING

1 (8-ounce) container plain fat-free or low-fat yogurt
1/2 cup bottled white wine vinaigrette salad dressing
2 tablespoons chopped fresh Italian parsley leaves or parsley
8 cups torn mixed salad greens
2 large red pears or apples, cored, thinly sliced, and halved
1 medium yellow bell pepper, thinly sliced
1/2 of a small red onion, cut into thin slivers
9-ounces Heartland Fields™ Soy Steak Tips, thawed

1. For dressing: In small bowl, stir together yogurt, vinaigrette salad dressing, and parsley.

2. In large salad bowl, combine greens, pears, bell pepper, and red onion. Add steak tips. Pour dressing over salad. Lightly toss to coat.

Makes 6 servings.
